Cyberspace (14:19 Hamilton, this afternoon: Moira Stein Memorial EBF Restricted Maiden Stakes, Class 4, 5f)
Bobby Smart’s two-year-old bay gelding by Harry Angel, ridden by Paul Mulrennan, with the yard flying at 33% over the last fortnight. He was beaten 2 lengths in second at Redcar 12 days ago, a big step forward from his debut, and he’s a half-brother to a 5f winner. Stall 6 also suits, with a high draw favoured here. The one unknown is the soft ground, as he’s yet to run on it.
Verdict: Back Cyberspace to win. He’s improving fast, the yard is in red-hot form, and this looks the right race for him to get off the mark. 🏇
