Speed of Sound has shown consistent promise without yet winning, finishing second at Newmarket on debut before going close again at Ascot last month, beaten 1½ lengths at 10/3. Both runs have come in tougher Class 3 company — she drops into Class 4 tonight at Yarmouth which is a significantly weaker level.
