Methgal (19:00 Wolverhampton, this evening: Race & Rest – Wolverhampton Holiday Inn Handicap, Class 6, 6f)
Dylan Cunha’s gelding, in fine form at 19% over the last fortnight, ridden again by Stevie Levey who’s a perfect 1 from 1 on him. Won by 2½ lengths at Kempton last time under a good ride from a wide draw, carrying a 5lb penalty here off the back of it. Perfect record at this trip, and a strong record on the all-weather generally.
Verdict: Back Methgal to win. He’s in career-best form for a new yard and this looks a fair opportunity for the penalty. 🏇
