Wykehurst Park (14:45 Yarmouth — Infobond EBF Restricted Maiden Stakes, Class 4, 1m1f)
Andrew Balding’s colt, in solid form at 18% over the last fortnight, ridden by Oisin Murphy who’s flying at 22%. Closed well for third on debut at Kempton last month, beaten 4 lengths by Al Wathba, and that form’s since been boosted by the fourth home winning next time. Bred to stay all day by Stradivarius, and the step up in trip today looks tailor-made.
Verdict: Back to win — plenty of improvement to come, in-form yard and jockey, and bred for this longer trip. 🏇
