Paradise Walk has been in excellent form, winning at Windsor in May before landing a Class 4 handicap at Nottingham on 20 June, beating Secret Mistral by half a length at 9/2. Both wins have come in blinkers, which she wears again today, and her 66% win record in that headgear tells its own story.
She steps up to Ascot for the first time on good to firm ground over 5f — conditions she handles well with a 66% win rate on similar going. Beckett clearly has big plans, with a Goodwood entry pencilled in for next week, and the yard doesn’t bring them to Ascot without genuine confidence.
Verdict: Back to win at 10/3 — progressive filly, in-form yard, proven in blinkers, and connections aiming high.
