A four-year-old French-bred gelding by Pastorius, now trained by David Pipe — a yard bang in form at 22% over the last two weeks — after being transferred from Ireland, which is a clear statement of intent from connections. He showed plenty on his bumper debut here at Market Rasen on 19 June, finishing second of six behind Scotto, beaten just a head at 5/1. That was a highly promising introduction and the form reads well in the context of this race.
